Ibukun Gabriel Awolusi, Ph.D.
Lab Director • SI³ Lab
Dr. Ibukun Gabriel Awolusi leads research focused on safety and health, automation and robotics, intelligent infrastructure, sustainable and space construction, and workforce development, with funding support from agencies including NSF, NASA, OSHA, and the U.S. Department of Labor. He actively mentors graduate and undergraduate researchers while collaborating with industry and public agencies. An award-winning educator and researcher, Dr. Awolusi is committed to advancing the construction industry through innovative research, transformative education, and impactful partnerships that improve safety, productivity, and infrastructure resilience.
